COURSE DESCRIPTION

This is an English basic grammar and language skill course, which gives students practice in comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing. It is designed to develop all skills through the study of grammar. Students learn how to make correct sentences using correct grammar when they speak and write. Student will learn how to get to know each other, express how they feel, talk about others, and their likes and dislikes. Successful completion of this level allows students to proceed to the next level.

COURSE OUTCOMES

By the end of EAP110, students will be able to:

• Recognize and use simple vocabulary
• Express what they have done using present perfect
• Spell out words related to personal information
• Follow simple instructions
• Give and understand basic descriptions
• Express ability and inability
• Talk about their likes and dislikes
• Understand and ask simple questions and commands in a predictable context
